Salsa Pittsburgh is teaming up with The Terminal in Pittsburgh’s Strip District to offer a free outdoor salsa dance on select Mondays this summer. Portable flooring will be our dancing surface, as well as the painted (danceable) section of the sidewalk at the base of the clock. Jeff & Colleen Shirey (Salsa Pittsburgh) will be offering a free 30-minute beginner dance lesson from 5:30 – 6:00 pm, followed by social dancing to Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin rhythms until 9:00 pm. Parking is available on street (free after 6:00 pm), or in the pay lot directly behind The Terminal. Grab a beer at Aslin Beer Co.

Please note: In the event of rain, we will either be on the 2nd floor of the Distillery Complex or inside The Finch (6th floor). 1st & 3rd Tuesdays (also 5th Tuesday in September) at the Distillery Complex on the South Shore (6th Floor – The Finch). Weather permitting, we will be dancing outside on the deck (with most of the tables removed) with a beautiful view of the city! Inside dancing (still with a view) in the event of inclement weather. Perched on the 6th floor of The Distillery Complex, The Finch is a rooftop bar and restaurant offering breathtaking panoramic views of Pittsburgh. Jeff & Colleen Shirey (Salsa Pittsburgh) will be offering a free 30-minute beginner dance lesson from 7:00 – 7:30 pm, followed by social dancing to Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin rhythms until 11:00 pm. There is no cover charge, Optional valet parking for $8.00 or you may self-park in the lot at Station Square, the Highline Garage, or on-street. Three floors: Bar/lounge on 1st floor, Dancing on 2nd floor, Cigar lounge and sitting room on 3rd floor (cigar room has filtration, so no smoke will carry into lounge area). Movie reel playing on third floor with clips from the Palladium era of Mambo dancing.
