Please note: In the event of rain, we will either be on the 2nd floor of the Distillery Complex or inside The Finch (6th floor). Salsa Pittsburgh is excited to announce a new salsa night for Pittsburgh Latin Dancers! The first one on June 2 was a huge hit…1st & 3rd Tuesdays at the Distillery Complex on the South Shore (6th Floor – The Finch). Weather permitting, we will be dancing outside on the deck (with most of the tables removed) with a beautiful view of the city! Inside dancing (still with a view) in the event of inclement weather. Perched on the 6th floor of The Distillery Complex, The Finch is a rooftop bar and restaurant offering breathtaking panoramic views of Pittsburgh. Jeff & Colleen Shirey (Salsa Pittsburgh) will be offering a free 30-minute beginner dance lesson from 7:00 – 7:30 pm, followed by social dancing to Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin rhythms until 11:00 pm. There is no cover charge, Optional valet parking for $8.00 or you may self-park in the lot at Station Square, the Highline Garage, or on-street. Spirits, signature cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages available, as well as shareables & plates.

Outdoor salsa dance every other Wednesday, from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, beginning June 24 (Jun 24, Jul 8, 22, Aug 5, 19, Sep 2, 16). Lesson at 6:30 pm followed by social dancing from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. DJ Jeff playing Salsa, Bachata and other Latin dance rhythms. Dance on the grass or concrete stage (Dollar Bank Stage). Bring appropriate shoes (if dancing) or just enjoy the music. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and water bottles. Free to the public.

Noel Quintana and the Latin Crew will be playing for part of the Clemente Bridge Fest (17th Annual Clemente Museum Fundraiser) which takes place on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, 115 Federal Street, Pittsburgh. The band will be playing from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, however the festival goes from 3:00 – 7:00 pm and will feature live music, workshops, local food and vendors, and kids’ activities. Tickets cost $21.00 via the Clemente Museum or $30.00 at the bridge.

Salsa Pittsburgh is teaming up with The Terminal in Pittsburgh’s Strip District to offer a free outdoor salsa dance on select Mondays this summer. Portable flooring will be our dancing surface, as well as the painted (danceable) section of the sidewalk at the base of the clock. Jeff & Colleen Shirey (Salsa Pittsburgh) will be offering a free 30-minute beginner dance lesson from 5:30 – 6:00 pm, followed by social dancing to Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin rhythms until 9:00 pm. Parking is available on street (free after 6:00 pm), or in the pay lot directly behind The Terminal. Grab a beer at Aslin Beer Co. (the suds part!

Movie reel playing on third floor with clips from the Palladium era of Mambo dancing.
