We are making our summer bash even BETTER by adding a one-hour special workshop, dominoes, table seating, and a food vendor so you don’t have to worry about dinner. As always, there will be great music, fun social dancing, and beautiful park grounds that your family can enjoy before and during this event. This event is family friendly! Salsa Pittsburgh is excited to announce a new salsa night for Pittsburgh Latin Dancers! The first one on June 2 was a huge hit…the next one is June 23, thereafter, it will be 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at the Distillery Complex on the South Shore (6th Floor – The Finch). Weather permitting, we will be dancing outside on the deck (with most of the tables removed) with a beautiful view of the city! Inside dancing (still with a view) in the event of inclement weather. Perched on the 6th floor of The Distillery Complex, The Finch is a rooftop bar and restaurant offering breathtaking panoramic views of Pittsburgh. Jeff & Colleen Shirey (Salsa Pittsburgh) will be offering a free 30-minute beginner dance lesson from 7:00 – 7:30 pm, followed by social dancing to Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin rhythms until 11:00 pm. There is no cover charge, Optional valet parking for $8.00 or you may self-park in the lot at Station Square, the Highline Garage, or on-street. Spirits, signature cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages available, as well as shareables & plates.

We are happy to announce that in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Salsa Pittsburgh will be appearing several times outdoors during summer 2026 at the new Arts Landing. We will be hosting a salsa dance night from 6:30 – 10:00 pm every other Wednesday beginning June 24 (Jun 24, Jul 8, 22, Aug 5, 19, Sep 2, 16). 12th Annual Free Outdoor Salsa Dance Party to celebrate summer and to thank everyone for supporting our events throughout the year. All ages welcome from 4:00-10:00 pm. Come dance Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, and more on the 2400 square foot mahogany dance floor at the beautiful Avonworth Community Park Pavilion. Event is free to the public…we will supply the venue, dance music and some food starting at 4:00 pm…we just ask you to bring your own snacks and drinks (picnic style), if coming later than 4:00 pm as the free food won’t last! Beer and wine permitted, however the venue requests no hard liquor be brought on premises.

Dancing on the covered patio from 12 noon – 5:00 pm. No cover charge. Menu items and buffet price TBA. Picnic tables and corn hole outside on the grassy area, dancing and buffet inside on the covered patio. Portable dance floor will be out for you to dance off the calories.
